Example Treatments and Prices

Hello friends,

thanks for visiting.

Massage therapy has been around for a long time. A really long time. In fact, it's probably been around for as long as people have been around... and who know's if the neanderthals were kneading each others achy muscles after clubbing diplodocus around their tiny heads. Not I. Point is, it is an effective treatment for the symptomatic relief of muscle pain, headaches, insomnia, sciatica, anxiety, fibromyalgia, sports injuries and more. There are as many different approaches to massage as there are therapists, and it can be a journey finding the right one for you. I trained at the City of Bristol College, where I qualified in Sports massage, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, Thai massage and lymphatic drainage. I also earned a Foundation degree in Complementary Health. My aim is to help you to manage your pain, be it physical pain related to injury or sports, or stress and anxiety causing tension and sleeplessness.

Now, I am back in my home town of Leamington Spa, working from a dedicated treatment room that I have set up in the basement of my home. Over the years I have developed my techniques into a style that is more my own, using many of the skills I learnt during my university days and others that are more recent. I no longer provide Thai or lymphatic work, but rather focus on myofasical and deep tissue techniques to guide my practice.

Please note, I am a university educated therapist. Professional enquiries only please.

I use the term 'remedial massage' to explain what I do as I feel that it best describes my approach. It simply means massage that is targeted to whatever aches, pains, or stresses you bring to the treatment. I begin from a myofasical perspective, working through Swedish, deep tissue and if needed sports massage techniques to find a treatment that is uniquely 'you'. Back massage that incorporates shoulders and hips is a popular session, but to give you some inspiration I have provided a few 'example' treatments below. You are not limited by these, they are there for guidance only. If you feel that you would like a treatment but are not sure exactly what would be of most benefit to you, the consultation will help me to determine which direction to take and we can work together to find the solution.
